DenBeste Vineyards produces a small quantity of Zinfandel
wine sourced from the Alexander Valley. Located on the
eastern side of the Russian River just north of the town
of Asti, our vineyard exemplifies the tranquility of
Sonoma County's northern valley. Despite its proximity to
the Pacific Ocean, the valley is a warm appellation, with
its nutrient-rich gravely loam soil producing elegant
wines.
Our vineyard is located on the north-eastern
portion of the valley and we are pleased to offer you our
wines from this remarkable wine growing region. We are
currently offering our 2003 vintage and will soon be
releasing our 2004 Zinfandel in the near future. Please

2003 Zinfandel Tasting Notes
500 Cases produced. Ruby in color, wonderful bright
blackberry and blueberry aromas emanate from your glass
immediately. An abundance of sweet, plush, jammy fruit is
heightened with a touch of spice and bittersweet
chocolate. Medium bodied and elegant, the ripe fruit is
accentuated by sweet pipe tobacco, black pepper and
lambert cherry. The stunning bright blackberry fruit
evident with light oak and spice dominate the warm, rich
finish. It should improve from 2005 to 2006.

2004 Zinfandel Tasting Notes
1500 Cases produced. Our 2004 Zinfandel delivers a
smooth burst of roasted plum, wild berry and cola flavors.
Heady aromas of blackberry, cedar, white pepper and
cigar-box aromas dominate the nose. Caramel and a hint of
vanilla open up as mouth-filling fruit flavors combine
with light tannins on the palate. Structured berry and red
currant follow to round up a smooth, lingering finish. We
think this is an enjoyable wine that will be great to
consume with pasta dishes, lamb, and roasted game. Cheers!
